About European Union Embassies’ Open House

The Delegation of the European Union to the United States and the Embassies of 28 EU Member States to the United States will open their doors to the Washington public during the EU Embassies’ Open House Day. This annual event is the highlight of the Washington spring calendar and will be celebrated on May 13th, 2017.

Each embassy will open their doors to the public from 10 am until 4 pm, offering a rare look inside the buildings. The day will provide a unique opportunity to experience the country’s cultural heritage and national traditions.

This year we are excited to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Marshall Plan, which was crucial to rebuilding Europe after WWII. We are grateful to the United States for your unwavering support of European peace, unity and prosperity! We are also celebrating the 60th birthday of the EU, which all began with the Treaty of Rome.

Pick up your EU Open House passport at the Delegation at 2175 K Street NW on the day of the event. Unable to visit us? Print your own passport.
