Free Fun for the Entire Family

The tenth annual EU Open House Day will be celebrated on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Our Embassy will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Discover why Austria ranks high for quality of life, learn more about the country during a presentation by the Austrian Tourist Office, and meet our Ambassador. Wine tasting seminars introduce you to exclusive Austrian wines and a preparation of a typical Austrian Kaiserschmarrn lets you get a taste of Austria!

Parking Lot Party

This year we welcome a special guest: The Red Bull MXT! The truck will provide music entertainment on the Embassy parking lot.

And if you get hungry, don’t worry! The team of AT Kaiser’s – The Austrian Gasthaus has got you covered with delicious Bratwürste, Eggenberg Pils and Stiegl Radler (cash preferred). All together, a real Austrian experience!

Bus Route

Just as in the past, you can experience Austria with public transportation. There will be a shuttle bus departing from Van Ness/UDC metro station.

For the entire shuttle bus system, check out the EU Delegation’s brochure.
